Impact Report: Platform broadens support for clusters and clouds
Platform Computing has released significant new versions of its flagship Load Sharing Facility (LSF) job scheduler and HPC management product. Throughout its history, the target of Platform's product set has evolved from clusters, through grids to the cloud. But that doesn't mean that clusters have been left behind, and these new product releases extend and deepen support for these three computing paradigms. Its offerings are open in that they support a range of systems, operating systems, heterogeneous interconnects and many ISV applications, avoiding proprietary lock-in.
