The Platform Symphony Administration and Application Programming course is designed to give grid and application support teams and application programmers the required knowledge to deploy, use and maintain Symphony clusters in their working environment and the basic development skills to grid-enable applications. They will gain a strong understanding of Platform Symphony architecture and workload and resource management concepts. They will also learn basic application management and cluster administration skills as well as basic Symphony application development features and programming skills.
 
 
Who Should Attend
The Platform Symphony Administration and Application Programming course has been designed for grid and application support personnel as well as application programmers.
 
 
Course Pre-requisite
Attendees should be familiar with UNIX/Linux and/or Windows operating systems, have basic system administration experience and know the basics of one popular programming language (such as C++). Previous experience with Grid Computing technologies and solutions is beneficial but not required.
