Course Description:
The Platform MapReduce End User course is designed to give IT system administrators and application support teams the required knowledge to deploy, use, and maintain a Platform MapReduce cluster in their working environments. Attendees will gain an understanding of the Platform MapReduce architecture, resource and workload management, application deployment, cluster deployment, integration with Hadoop, pig and hive, cluster configuration and administration skills.

The target audience for this course is new and existing users of Platform MapReduce, existing Hadoop knowledge is helpful, but not required. Attendees should be familiar with UNIX/Linux environment.
